MEET THE TEAM

Sifu Paul

Sifu Paul started his QiGong journey in 2002 after a significant martial arts injury which left him incapable of walking without a limp. After several lessons he was surprised the extent his overall health improved and this curiosity led him to continue on the path of learning.

Over the years he has trained with many Masters and Teachers, in all differing styles and types of QiGong and Tai Chi, both in Australia and China where he was awarded a gold medal in Tai chi.

He is a current disciple of both International QiGong Master John Saw and Chen Practical Method Master Chen Zhonghua, having studied 15 and 8 years respectively.

Master Saw now aged 88 has retired but developed his system “Sarm Bao (Three Treasures)” which Paul has taken over in Sydney.

Having been given the good fortune of these QiGong experiences, Paul now wishes to share this knowledge so others can also look after and improve their health, believing prevention is better than cure!

The Three Treasures are described as Shen, Qi and Jing,

Each word has very deep and wide meaning in the Chinese culture and tradition. However for our understanding it can be considered as Body Alignment, Breathing and Mind Intention.

These aspects of movement are always there together, but our practice regimen necessarily divides these Three Treasures so that we can focus on improving development in each area gradually.

After seeking out many QiGong methods, Paul believes the Sarm Bao approach to be a superior process of instruction because it gives the best overall understanding of this art, and the practical clear steps to achieving results, sooner.
